While there are no Lowe's within easy driving distance here in San Diego, back in Austin Jeanette and I used to frequent these hardware stores often, as we were outfitting a house and workshop at the time.
I also have always 
enjoyed, for whatever reason, walking around in a big warehouse. Back in Annapolis there was a place called Hechinger's (which I believe is now a Lowe's) that I have fond memories of. Social desolation but being totally surrounded by goods.
My friend Aaron Rudkin recently made some good fun of a Lowe's commercial over the phone awhile back, and I decided to follow up on it with this short mock commercial. For the skeptical, this is in no way meant to depict Lowe's as a bad company, since we enjoyed shopping there and had no problems. But I've had a lot of positive feedback from the humor found herein, so enjoy.
