As you may or may not already know Jeanette released "Hope II" last night on www.alexanderbrandon.net. Check it out!
Hope was one of the first MODs I wrote quite a few years ago and I decided to write a few tunes in the midst of interviewing guitarists and vocalists for "Contention" for Jeanette's Jazzercise. It's harder than it would seem, to write a song that people can exercise to, but I'm trying to find a medium between what works for the class and what I like. So this is the first full effort along those lines. As a song itself I enjoy it and hope you will too.
checked out the 192k mp3, so here goes....
[+]
->good arrangement
->catchy song
->i like this style of yours, this is your older style, goodness :)
[-]
->sounds need to be EQ'ed as they are dull for todays standards
->maybe you should send it to a mastering studio, to add some brightness

I dunno. I'm not much of a music conoisseur, but it's on a similar vein to those rather calm, fast-beat tunes like Michiel Van Den Bos's Skyward Fire for UT99. Well, maybe not exactly like it, but it's good in that sense in my opinion. And Kudos to Mr. Brandon for not actually going with the mainstream and sticking to his own style. I'm growing sick of mass-produced pop/rap/hip-hop, anyways. That's just one young man's opinion.

Suneel pretty much said it, this is like the UT99 track Go Down mixed in the style of UT99 Skyward Fire.

Wow, that takes me back -- the oroginal Hope was one of my favorite KFMF tracks ever! I was just listening to it today for the first time in years, and decided to look you up and see if you were still making music. What a pleasant surprise!
Keep up the good work!
